Introduction
The decrease of physical prototypes and the growing power of simulation in the design process require greater control in the design chain calculation. This is the main reason for the arrival of SDM in the perimeter of calculation, as was the case a few years ago for CAD from 3D drawing to the digital mock up. It goes now from the DMU for Design to the "Simulation Based Design."
