As part of a recent work funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the Leibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe (IVW) have investigated hydrodynamic compaction effects by creating a highly detailed model of their measurement device, the “HykoPerm”.
