ESI Group presents the 3rd official OpenFOAM User Conference and opens up another opportunity for all OpenFOAM users worldwide to meet and interact with the OpenFOAM developers, support and training team and find out more about new developments and interesting projects in OpenFOAM.

Awadh Kapoor from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University with the topic: “Investigation of Thin-Film and Lagrangian Models in OpenFOAM to simulate Wing-Mirror Soiling”. This student paper was chosen from a strong contingent of 15 submissions and shortlist of five.

Flashback: OpenFOAM User Conference 2013 and 2014
Two years ago in April 2013, ESI premiered the OpenFOAM User Conference in Frankfurt, Germany with more than 200 participants from all parts of the world. With a mix of about 35 industrial speakers from Automotive, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnologies, Marine, Coastal Engineering etc., the event brought OpenFOAM creators and OpenFOAM users together to exchange and share their ideas and knowledge about OpenFOAM.
