We are seeking a world-class professional for the position of Global Account Manager of one of the largest automotive companies in the world.

This role is based in our Rungis office, in the Paris region. The missions and responsibilities include but not limited to :

 

- Responsible for providing global business leadership and management of this global account ;

- Build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage resources ;

- Define a CxO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with internal senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction ;

- Responsible for teaming with the customer’s organization to maintain existing strategic relationships and developing new ones across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating trust and passion, while impacting all business groups ;

- Responsible for engaging at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation ;

- Work with all appropriate ESI resources (Executives, Business and Support functions) to propose and apply solutions linked with customer strategy ;

- Build, implement and drive short and long term account strategy in alignment with the company strategy ;

- Define, track and report on KPIs including revenue forecast on a timely basis ;

- Capitalize & share knowledge (key wins & customer success references) with peers and ESI team.

Most Important Attributes Are :

- Experience with the large global automotive companies and as Global Account Manager working with multiple business units. Understanding of challenges and problems to be expected in the related market ;

- Has a highly sophisticated understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and needs/challenges of the assigned account ;

- Uses innovation and creativity as strategic problem solving tools ;

- Experience in the Computer-aided engineering (CAE) market, as well as in promoting and selling CAE products in large accounts ;

- At least Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or other relevant discipline. Technical degree and/or MBA is a plus ;

- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations ;

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required ;

- Works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies ;

- Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization. Identifies and addresses issues that impact the strategic direction of both companies ;

- Able to perform ROI and Total Cost of Ownership analysis of a new technology investment ;

- Possesses leadership attributes to guide external and internal teams through challenging negotiations ;

- Viewed as thought leader and knowledgeable domain resource within his/her customer base ;

- Must possess demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skill.

 

This position requires a minimum of ten years of experience working at a technology company as the lead account and relationship manager of a large global organization, including a minimum of three years working with global automotive accounts. Specific industry related experience may be considered in combination with the above requirements.
