ESI Group (France) is currently seeking a Technical Engineer for our Smart Manufacturing team in EMEA. The successful candidate will manage and be actively involved with pre- and post-sales activities related to virtual Manufacturing focused on Sheet Metal Forming, Welding and Assembly processes.
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
Managing specific clients implementation projects of simulation technologies (pre sales) :
- Execution of Pre-Sales activities at customer and prospects in close cooperation with our sales department
- Application of our solutions in customer projects to highlight customer value
- Creation of demonstrators according to client and market requirements
- Preparation of technical documentation for commercial support in pre-sales work
- Attendance at webinars and seminars
Technical support and training tasks for clients who use simulation tools (After-Sales)
- Functioning as main technical contact person for our French speaking customers including customer relationship building
- On-Line technical support to clients regarding the handling and application of the software
- Technical assistance, on-line and on-site, for our customers including specific processes and definition of customized methodologies
- Preparation and execution of trainings and seminars
- Communication with our global development and product management team to implement product improvements according to customer requirements
