With continuously growing activities, ESI Group, the leading company in the domain of Virtual Prototyping of Products, is searching for a software engineer specialized in security, vulnerability and compliance topics in software engineering

The successful candidate will operationally drive the open source software (OSS) board and related activities, implement and drive activities related to static/dynamic code analysis and reporting and supply chain and SBOM management.

Examples of duties:

  • Drive the code intelligence part of software factory
  • Define and propose standardized SDLC processes and help teams to implement them
  • Be point of contact for development/quality/IT teams
  • Support handling of customer assessment requests regarding compliance / IT risks


We are looking for a person with a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related field with experience in the DevOps or DevSecOps domain.

Required Competences:

  • Strong background in DevOps and automation
  • Familiar with systems like Gitlab, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker on Windows and Linux
  • Experience from tools for vulnerability and compliance management
  • Strong background in scripting (Windows Batch, Python, Shell…)
  • General understanding of software engineering topics
  • Be able to work in a multi-cultural environment, handle team dynamics in a proper and positive way
  • Able to grab a topic, discover unknown areas and train yourself to achieve the mission
  • Fluent English
  • Project mindset
