ESI North America, subsidiary of ESI Group (France), is currently seeking an Inside Sales Pipeline Specialist in its Farmington Hills, MI office. The main objective is to be a lead development and new business conversion specialist to help build qualified sales pipeline, with the opportunity to grow into an inside sales role managing and growing a book of business.

This role is responsible for prospecting, identifying, and validating new marketing qualified leads that convert into sales opportunities. This includes but not limited to follow up on inbound / outbound leads, setting meetings and appointments with well qualified prospects and contacts, developing account profiles and cold calling.

This position is part of our Global Marketing team, reporting directly to our Americas Marketing Manager, working closely with local technical pre-sales and account sales teams.

Core Responsibilities / Functions

  • Work with marketing team to identify buying centers and build target lists for outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Follow up on web responders, event participants, webinar attendees, and other inbound responders generated from marketing programs.
  • Perform targeted outbound lead generation, contact discovery, and account development working with sales/marketing on key focus accounts.
  • Boost campaign activity and events (onsite, seminars, webinars or digital) via social media (LinkedIn), emailing and cold calling as assigned.
  • Improve ESI brand recognition (mindshare) & credibility (market share) with prospects and known customer contacts.
  • Develop a strong lead nurture pipeline to provide sales with well qualified leads that convert into opportunities.
  • Identify and secure appointments and meetings for technical sales / account management.
  • Support specific outbound ABM campaigns for larger focus account development.
  • Responsible for ongoing results management in CRM (Salesforce), recommendations & status reporting to Marketing Manager for regular review and quality analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or related. Experience in B2B / enterprise software industry or equivalent desired. Engineering degree or related experience a bonus.
  • CRM software (Salesforce), MS Office products proficiency email. 
  • Able to take initiatives and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent business communication skills, pleasant voice and vocabulary, respectful demeanor to prospects and co-workers. Persuasive, high-energy and motivated.
  • Motivation to work with multiple countries, cultures and time zones.
