Understanding the Material Background
Reference: SWD-HM-A

(Heat Treatment Simulation Engineering)
Level: Advanced
Duration: 2 days
Audience: Advanced designers and heat treatment practitioners as well as simulation engineers
Objectives: To understand the influence of material properties on the quality of results (define appropriate parameters, their sensitivity); to create material databases; and to understand the background of computed results.
Prerequisites:

Course: Heat treatment Simulation Engineering: Getting it Right (SWD-H-B).
Recommended: basic knowledge of non-linear Finite Element technology and of numerical methods.

Description: Creation of a materials database, according to the participants’ needs. Detailed analysis of computed results using Sysweld, the leading simulation solution for heat treatment, welding and welding assembly.
