Introduction to VTM - Vehicle Trim
Reference: RAY-V-B
Modeling with RAYON
| |||
| Level: | Basic | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Duration: | 2-3 days | ||
| Audience: | Engineers working with low frequency noise and vibration applications involving trimed materials who wish to acquire basic knowledge and practical experience with RAYON VTM. | ||
| Objectives: | Understand the theory and carry out engineering tasks with RAYON VTM (Vehicle Trim Modeler), to predict the vibro-acoustic coupled response of a fully trimmed vehicle. | ||
| Prerequisites: |
Participants should be familiar with the fundamentals of acoustics and vibrations. Previous knowledge of and experience with Boundary (BEM) and Finite Element (FEM) Methods and RAYON is desirable but not required. |
||
| Description: | Combining lectures, demos and hands-on sessions, participants acquire basic knowledge and understanding of trim applications modeling using RAYON VTM. | ||
