Marine industry application

In the Marine industry, the use of infusion process is motivated by the environmental concerns about the traditional “open mold” manufacturing methods currently used, the need to improve the quality of the parts and the process repeatability. However, the definition of the infusion process parameters (gates location, resin flow rate, temperature…) remains a challenge.
PAM-RTM allows a quick and easy determination and optimization of the process parameters before any physical trials. It can help yards to smoothly switch from “open mold” to “closed mold” manufacturing processes or to master their existing “closed mold” processes.
