The environmental and gas consumption concerns motivate the use of composites material (a very efficient way to decrease the weight of vehicles for instance), that today extend to structural components. However, the manufacturing of composite components is very different from metallic components and the production is much slower.
Liquid Composites Molding (LCM) process is especially suitable for structural components using continuous fibers reinforcement. PAM-RTM allows process engineers and designers to fully understand and thus optimize the process so as to produce high performance parts while reducing manufacturing time.
