- Acquisition of US services company Mindware Engineering Inc., a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) specialist aiming to supplement its high value-added services, essential component of ESI global offering.
2007
- Strategic Collaboration with ChengDu Aicraft Industry, a major Chinese aircraft manufacturer and global aviation industry partner for Aeronautic Composites Manufacturing Engineering, in their aircraft design and manufacturing engineering process.
- ESI Group confirms its quality commitment with the renewal of the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
- Launch of the European MARI Consortium (for Marine, Aero, Rail and Industrial structures) in order to establish VA One modeling guidelines.
2006
- Airbus adopts PAM-RTM for CATIA V5, a software program used to simulate the manufacturing of composite components formed by injection molding.
- Technological collaboration announcement with Intel in order to jointly develop enterprise leading solutions.
- With the signing of a strategic partnership to take over the Chinese-based company ATE Technology International’s activities, ESI targets both market diversification and a strengthening of its geographical presence.
- ESI Group is recognized as a European Technological Leader and picks up 2006 Frost & Sullivan award for its casting software ProCAST.
- With the acquisition of IPS International’s digital simulation services for engineering applications (CAE), as well as the intellectual property rights to their virtual human models “H-Models”, ESI complements its services offering, notably in production projects, in South Korea initially.
2005
- ESI releases breakthrough simulation technology for Aerodynamic Shape Optimization. PAM-FLOW™ Adjoint Solver cuts significantly the number of design iterations in CFD shape optimization on an automotive air duct.
