The successful applicant will be responsible for the business development and sales of VA One software in India apart from assist our local engineering staff in our Bangalore office and will be part of a global team that is delivering state-of-the-art vibro-acoustic analysis methods and defining industry standard best practices.
Specific duties:
- Perform business development activities including identification of potential opportunities and technical diagnosis of client requirements for selling VA One software and solutions
- Develop high quality technical materials for pre-sales, training and support, provide high quality technical support and communicate modeling best practices to our users
- Carry out advanced Engineering Services studies (including Application Engineering studies, Contract Research, Technology Transfer and Software Customization), Technical diagnosis and communicate user requirements and enhancements to our R&D teams’ products
- Represent the company at national and international conferences and industry trade shows
Specific requirements
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Vibro-Acoustics and proven research and/or application experience. A Master’s or a PhD qualification is desirable. Demonstration of experience with the following methods will be beneficial: Statistical Energy Analysis, Acoustic Boundary Element methods, Finite Element Methods, Modelling of Acoustic Materials, Noise and Vibration testing.
