MAAXIMUS
ESI Group partners the ‘More Affordable Aircraft structure lifecycle through eXtended, Integrated, & Mature nUmerical Sizing’ (MAAXIMUS) project.
The main objective of the MAAXIMUS project is to enable aircraft manufacturers to achieve the fast development and right-first-time validation of highly optimized composite fuselage thanks to major improvements in simulation-based design/computational mechanics leading to a time saving on the development cycle of 20% by 2013. To complete this project, a strong partnership is required with long-term commitment between aircraft manufacturers, the aeronautics industry supply chain, hardware and software vendors such as ESI Group, research institutes and academia.
