仕事内容

We are looking for a talented QA Manager.  You will manage an international team of 10 people, spread across 6 countries, working on different projects within Smart Manufacturing Business Line.

You will be responsible for validation of Stamp & Composites products along with involvement in the level 2 support to Customer Success team.

 

MISSION

The main roles of the Validation & Support Manager will be :

- Supervision of the Validation & Support team

_ Main point of contact for the project stakeholders

- Coordination and project follow-up of the validation activities for Stamp and Composites products

- Ensure a good monitoring of the tasks progress

- Manage Support activities

 

RESPONSABILITIES

1 – Product Validation :

- Coordinate through the 2 Technical Leaders the software validation for Stamp and Composites products to ensure the expected quality level

- Plan, execute and document the testing of our software products to agreed milestones and quality standards

- Ensure the documentation maintenance (Training, tutorial, e-learning docs)

- Structure and increase test automation to avoid manual testing

- Monitor the team activity in terms of Quality, Time, Scope

 

2 – Customer Support :

- Interface with level 1 Stamp & Composites Support team about Help Requests, Bugs fixing and Development Requests

- Ensure the knowledge transfer to Customer Success engineers on new versions of the products

 

3 – Management :

- Provide Capacity & Resource planning update to ensure workload/workforce balance inside the team and across Virtual Manufacturing teams.

- Define yearly personal objectives in link with Company expected Key Results.

- Manage team skills to ensure to ensure Support & Validation missions via yearly training plan and internal mentorships.

- Report to your manager and internal Customer via Support & Validation KPIs.

Technical skills :

- Strong software QA experience (ISTQB certification is a plus)

- Team management (transversal or hierarchical)

- Mechanical Engineer (Material Science, Mechanics, or Numerical methods)

- Experience in numerical modelling (FEA) and manufacturing processes

- Ideally an experience in customer support and/or validation

 

      Desirable :

- Performing Testing activities within an Agile (SCRUM) environment
