ESI will speak at IQPC Innovative Seating Conference 2010 in Frankfurt
Presentation covers the latest advancements in Multi-Domain Integrated Simulations for Virtual Seat Prototyping
Paris, France – February 04, 2009 – ESI Group (ISIN FR0004110310), pioneer and world-leading supplier of digital simulation software for prototyping and manufacturing processes, announced today its presentation at the IQPC Innovative Seating Conference, to be held on February 8 to 10 in Frankfurt, Germany. ESI is also sponsoring the conference for the fifth consecutive year as it is a major event for the Comfort and Seat Designers community, aimed at sharing inside information on Intelligent Seating Solutions.
Entitled ‘Multi-Domain Integrated Simulations for Virtual Seat Prototyping’, the paper will be presented by Christian Marca, ESI’s Seat Design Product Manager, on February 9. Aimed at demonstrating a new way to handle seat design, the paper will cover a number of common challenges, including chaining simulations for Virtual Seat Manufacturing, Occupant Seating and Comfort, Occupant Safety, Thermal Comfort and Aero-Acoustics Absorption.
The 3 main objectives of the paper are to demonstrate:
1. Improvements in predicting the BioRid (dummy model) safety simulations by chaining seating and safety simulations
2. Better prediction of car interior acoustic response by chaining seating and acoustics simulations
3. Increase in seat comfort thanks to a complementary approach for comfort analysis: chaining seating and thermal simulations
Delegates can also find out more about ESI’s solutions for Virtual Seat Prototyping by visiting ESI’s booth in the exhibition area.
