In order to strengthen our sale operations in South America, we have an opening position in our Brazilian office in Sao Paulo for an engineer who is highly motivated to sell, flexible and keen to work in a small and dynamic team with activities on an interdisciplinary level. The candidate should be able to adapt ESI strategy to local market conditions to ensure financial growth of South American operations.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Performing all aspects of sales including prospecting and identifying opportunities, proposals negotiations and converting to orders
  • Managing aspects such as marketing material, trade exhibitions, public relations
  • Driving business development activities through direct sales, subsidiary and agent network support
  • Planning and establishing business goals – short and long term – and developing business plans to achieve these goals

Specific requirements

  • Bachelors / Masters in Mechanics / Physics / Material Science or Chemistry
  • Proven sale success in the areas of CAD / CAE / PLM sectors with expertise in handling all sales / marketing / business development activities
  • Experience in diverse market segments such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, defense, government and educational institutes
  • Capability to operate in a pre sales context involving face to face meetings with customers coupled with an ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to industry professionals
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical, problem solving abilities
  • Availability to travel
  • Mother language: Portuguese. Excellent knowledge of English required. Spanish would be an asset
